John Wesley (along with his brother Charles) is widely credited with the start of the Methodist movement. There is no doubt that his contribution to the Christian world is marked and enduring. He is quoted as having rode 250,000 miles on horseback, preached 40,00 sermons and given away £30,000.
As well as this contribution in the form of financial giving and the spoken word, Wesley, made an impact through the written word. One of his most renowned works is his “Notes on the Bible”. This is a commentary on the each book in the Bible.
Generally this is found in one single, large volume. As a file this is large and ultimately unwieldy. To help in this we have taken each book of the Bible and present it as a one book.
This helps you manage your commentaries on your and also allows you to keep an eye on the amount of space taken up in its memory.
Coupled with an active table of contents this is one of the easiest to use versions of Wesley’s work.
As a commentary the value of John Wesley’s contribution must not be underestimated. His writing is doctrinal but not dogmatic. He shines new light on various passages but all the time remaining true to the biblical meaning.
This book provides his commentary on

John Wesley The Complete Commentary On The Bible edition by John Wesley Religion Spirituality eBooks
I bought some chapters on the Bible by Wesley and gained a lot from them and that led me to buying the complete commentary. It is upsetting to realize how poorly we are educated by the Christian church and are little children still (Paul) It is a sin how our leaders neglect Christian education or how poorly they do it.
Reading the Bible with this commentary is worth it and after it, you won't be content to sit in a badly taught Bible class again-hoping against hope.
This commentary brings light and maturity to you the reader. We can't afford to leave Christian education to the church leaders and it must be done alone or as the head of your family and this commentary will educate you and help you teach your children.
You can read the Bible without it and gain much, but you will not gain the full truth of God's love and plan for us, nor understand what evil is so well as when you have John Wesley helping you with his wonderful mind, education and his life in Christ.
Another thing about reading his commentary is the man himself. He had a good reputation and came from a respectable family background. He lived his life preaching and never conducted himself as to bring scandal on Christianity. He was always open to learning. He learned from others and his own mistakes. He always went to the Bible as the last word. He didn't believe in being clever, but he was well-educated. This gives you some confidence in him as a person and as a religious leader. Well it did me and that also led me to reading his works.
