Not your typical Amish. There is a romance but not until the ending. She is an abused wife yet loves her husband. She tells no one but the single man next door who has helped her each time with bandages or taking her to the hospital.
Things happen after that.
This book was poorly written with many misspellings and tense changes. It should have been proof read before it was ever published. If the author learns basic writing skills she may become good.
I am very unhappy with this book. I've only gotten to Chapter 8 and the information about the book is incorrect, and the main character's name is wrong.
The book so far is about a women named Emma married to a man named Noah who abuses her and is horribly murdered. Emma is a suspect.
This is not a book about someone named Eva meeting a "shy Noah" that is suspected of murdering an Amish girl or Eva "wanting to explore outside her community".
I want to apologize for the spoilers - however I will complete the book. I hope he other books are better. The proofreading was atrocious an the intro to the book is very "wrong".
A nice short story. A pretty predictable plot, but it was still interesting enough and moved along quickly though for me to finish the story.
I only wish it was longer and the author had a deeper plot.
This book was really different for an Amish Mystery but in a good way. The author touched on a topic that many wouldn't think would happen with the Amish, but I am certain does. Fast moving, a few twists and interesting characters made this a great read.
Another great book provided by my kindle unlimited subscription.
