I read this quite a while back, and actually purchased the Kindle edition to have another copy of it. It's a fairly quick read, and did not go exactly where i expected it would, which is always a plus.You know how sometimes you read something and it just sticks with you, and pops back in to your head at odd times? I didn't expect it would be, even after just finishing it, but this is one of those books for me. Something about the way it is written makes it really haunting. I don't want to give anything away by saying much about why, but the author does an amazing job of making you feel the experience from the protagonist goes through.

This is totally not what you would expect and it's awesome. And definitely get his other books!
I really enjoyed this story. It was the perfect level of spooky for me. I highly recommend this book.
I actually won the physical copy of this book at a release party for another book. I started to read this and decided to buy the version so that way I could have it there too in case I just wanted to read off my . Agroland is the first book by Daniel Arthur Smith that I have read. This book did not disappoint. Great story telling and the story just flies by. I recommend this book. Great read and great story.
This story was a little too weird for me. It was written well, but it was just plain freaky. I was happy when I reached the end. I will probably have nightmares from it. Just too freaky.
What a great classic horror story. You can just feel the suspense and terror the characters endure as the story unfolds. Sad it was so short but often less is better. This author definitely is worth your time to check out. The ending of this story will just leave you unsettled. Good thing the story is only fiction....isn't it ????
The writing's a bit rough, and the characters could use development, but Agroland's a decent, quick read. Smith does a great job transporting a lesser-known creature to an out-of-place setting, and the action rockets forward at a blistering pace to a satisfying (if predictable) conclusion.
Before anyone thinks I'm damning with faint praise, take note - I chewed through this in about an hour and enjoyed every minute of it, warts and all. It's a b-movie of a book, and I mean that in the best possible way.
